The Integrated Marketing Team is a dynamic and collaborative group responsible for driving strategic marketing initiatives across various platforms and media channels. From developing comprehensive marketing campaigns to creating engaging promotional content, the team works together to elevate the Disney brand and connect with audiences.

The APAC Publicity Intern role provides a unique opportunity for aspiring public relations professionals to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and exciting world of entertainment marketing. The intern will play a crucial role in supporting the public relations function and will be exposed to various aspects of integrated marketing.

Responsibilities:

Publicity Campaigns


  • Support in the planning and execution of regional events, media junkets and interviews (virtual and in-person)
  • Work with local publicity teams in APAC to support in-market publicity campaigns across Studio and DTC releases
  • Manage asset distribution and requests between headquarters and APAC local markets
  • Assist in creation and/or management of press materials including press releases, media kits, EDMs, assets


Cross-functional Collaboration


  • Work closely with other teams within Disney Entertainment to ensure cohesive integrated marketing efforts


Administrative & Logistics


  • Monitor and analyse media coverage related to Studio and Disney+ content and relevant industry trends
  • Compile coverage reports and press reviews
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the publicity team


Internship Requirements:


  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between July to December 2025

Requirements:


  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, or a related field
  • Interest or knowledge of The Walt Disney Company’s key brands - Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star
  • Detail-oriented
  • Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for communications
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
  • Self-starter that needs minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office and Keynote
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Multilingualism is a plus (Mandarin/ Korean/ Japanese)
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe software (e.g. Photoshop and Premiere Pro) is a plus
