What The Role Is

You utilise people data to create insights, detect issues, and provide suitable HR recommendations and interventions at the strategic level.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Conduct research design using quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Build complex databases
  • Analyse and identify patterns and trends within people data
  • Create models and/or data visualisations
  • Use storytelling techniques to support decision-making on people issues
  • Work with stakeholders to implement solutions
  • Guide the Service on data analytics methods
  • Strive to achieve data proficiency standards for the Service


Challenge(s)

  • Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of data models, with potential for scaling
  • Safeguarding data integrity and avoiding issues like redundancies and conflicting values
  • Using data predictions and analysis to convince HR stakeholders to take action
  • Understanding complex and novel problem statements
  • Producing convincing data to explain situations
  • Formulating and implementing solutions to tackle HR issues


What We Are Looking For

  • Education in Human Resources, Industrial and Organisational Psychology or a related field
  • Prior work experience in HR business environment and HR IT systems is advantageous
  • Skills with data tools, models and techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Collegial and collaborative team-player with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
  • Self-motivation and initiative to complete tasks and monitor work timelines
