- Provide timely data analysis and insights to the Management
- Organise an internal dashboard of data points, projections and assumptions for proper knowledge management, strategic planning and reporting purposes
- Monitor and analyse KPIs relating to the Sustainable Philanthropy Framework
- Assist to create visualisation and infographics to communicate impact to management
- Assist in the planning of Community of Practice (COP) series which include identifying participants, content planning, design of collaterals, venue sourcing and managing of logistics etc
- Support the Donation Management System (DMS) team in organizing, documenting, and sharing critical information within the organization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects.

- Support development and/or refinement of sub-sector landscapes
- Support discussions with service providers and/or other stakeholder
- Prepare slides to summarise findings for the above
- Record key notes from the discussions to further refine the findings
- Support discussions with service providers and/or other stakeholders and support team's engagements with service providers and/or other stakeholders to better understand their programme offerings
- Propose approach based on engagement findings to obtain data on programme offerings to enable NCSS to have a collective view of the social service sector.
- Explore technology to automate manual processes
- Support the team in projects addressing attraction and retention strategies to drive and support their capability development journey in digitalisation, people and volunteer management
- Support in the engagements with talents on their development journey events/programmes organised for capability development and talent engagements
- Assist in mapping out the various providers in the mental health and community sub-clusters who could contribute to a stronger social sector in Singapore
- Conduct research and analysis to identify partners that NCSS should engage and work closely with, especially in terms of capability development
- Conduct research corporate volunteerism, informing the team when creating useful content and resources for sector engagement
- Support and participate in the engagement activities organised by the team to gain better understanding of the ecosystem stakeholders in the volunteerism space
- Conduct data analysis to establish findings and insights, supporting narratives and finding correlations among various practices

- Assist in strengthening organisational capabilities of Social Service Agencies (SSAs) through NCSS' schemes and initiatives
- Reviewing the effectiveness of efforts to strengthen organisational capabilities of SSAs, through conducting landscape scans, assessing current efforts and providing recommendations
- Enhancing communications plans and materials to engage SSAs to strengthen their capabilities through NCSS' schemes and initiatives
- Streamlining internal workflows and equipping internal teams with knowledge and skills to enable NCSS to support SSAs efficiently and effectively
- Assisting in the planning and preparation for workshops to equip SSAs with knowledge on strengthening organisational health
- Reviewing and setting up pipelines for extracting, transforming and loading operational data on organisational health, leadership and manpower for analysis and dashboarding.

- Responsible for building the Board Leadership Database that enables and supports planning and policies for NCSS's work to strengthen SSA Boards
- Plan and execute NCSS's annual Board Landscape scan and update of Board Leadership Database, including demographic and organisation info
- Develop and enhance dashboards from the Board Leadership Database using Power BI.
- Prepare presentations on the annual Board Landscape trends.
- Support the team in preparing and conducting engagement sessions with Board members and executive leaders of Social Service Agencies
- -Conduct in-depth research on government digital transformation and emerging technologies (e.g. AI, sensors, IoT, geospatial) relevant to social services.
- -Analyse case studies of successful digital initiatives in government and social service sectors.
- -Assist in identifying potential applications of emerging technologies for NCSS and its member organisations.
- -Support the development of recommendations for NCSS's digital transformation and technology adoption strategies.
- -Assist with admin duties. design and preparation of materials and notetaking during comms/engagement sessions
- -Assist in preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials for the Digital and Data Strategy team.
- -Collaborate with team members on ongoing digital and data projects within NCSS.
- - Identify global and local emerging trends that impact the social service landscape and assess/analyse the implications of these trends;
- - Conduct international scans to identify best practices in similar industries/sectors that can be adapted to Singapore's context;

- The intern will play an instrumental role in supporting the core team's work in the planning and implementation of Social Service Summit 2025 ( taking place in July 2025)
