Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team responsible for the daily operations of EFTPOS transactions and settlements, bill payment refunds, fund transfers, and PayLah! support.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance team productivity, efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
- Manage service requests, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and promptly addressing exceptions or issues.
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks, enhancing the resilience of payment processing systems. Address and resolve control gaps.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all operational processes and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Banking or a related field with proven experience in domestic payments operations, and a strong understanding of EFTPOS (NETS) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience in managing a team is highly preferred.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Knowledge of other domestic payment systems.
