As a Laboratory Technician, you'll play a key role in evaluating and testing customer samples under minimal supervision. You will execute basic EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) test plans, operate and maintain testing equipment, and ensure accurate results. In this role, you'll engage with customers throughout the process, providing clear communication and delivering comprehensive test reports. Job Responsibilities:
- Executes complex EMC test plans for a single technology, evaluates performance, and documents test results in reports.
- Following test plan as per instruction, operating equipment for lab testing, ensures result are proper document and evaluate result to Project handler and customer after testing.
- Understands and applies product/test standards during testing.
- Operates and maintains basic test equipment, performs minor maintenance, and may handle calibration tasks.
- Works with minimal supervision within set responsibilities.
- Incorporates continuous improvement techniques, offering suggestions to enhance accuracy and efficiency in equipment, processes, and forms.
- Open to working 2nd or 3rd shifts and overtime.
- Completes other lab duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates initiative and a drive to improve technical skills.
Qualifications:
- ITE or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or Manufacturing Technology with 1-3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education.
- Experience in EMC, RF, or Electrical/Electronic technology is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant EMC and/or RF experience may be considered for the Senior Laboratory Technician role.
- Strong team player with drive and initiative to deliver results in a challenging environment.
- Must be willing to work night shifts (6pm to 3am or 10pm to 7am). Should overtime be needed, the shift will be from 6pm to 7am.
