JLL has an opportunity for a Procurement Manager to take responsibility for the coordination and management of consultants, contractors, client stakeholders, and vendors for the successful delivery and execution of facilities management (FM) services and capital projects for our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sourcing strategies that maximize savings and commercial opportunities while ensuring compliance and fostering innovation. You'll manage vendors and key stakeholders across capital projects and FM services, collaborating effectively with diverse teams and leading from the front. Your duties will include leading robust tendering processes, establishing efficient organizational structures for reporting and communication, implementing clear objectives and quality control systems for all commercial activities, and actively participating in a range of meetings. By coordinating closely with various stakeholder teams, you'll play a crucial role in delivering successful outcomes for both capital projects and FM services.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and a structured approach to tasks. You'll need to balance the demands of capital project procurement with the ongoing needs of FM services sourcing, requiring adaptability and strong organizational, sourcing and project management skills.

Likewise, you'll handle contract administration of all vendors professionally and according to legal requirements. It's the best way to protect both our and the clients' commercial interests. Your expertise will also be central in identifying project risks and mitigating them. Furthermore, you'll be responsible for developing project-related reports, analyses and reviews regularly.

A snapshot of the role:
  • Must be able to work in a fast-track environment with a proven record of managing the overall sourcing process for projects within a similar role.
  • An understanding of the fit-out, capital & construction industry, construction methods, project lifecycles, and/or facilities management (FM) services- is favorable. Understanding operational aspects of mission critical facilities and infrastructure systems will be highly regarded.
  • QS and/or Project Management background would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Be responsible for cost planning, cost control, procurement management, construction cost management, savings delivery, and associated reporting duties for projects.
  • Identify early warnings and assist client and project team to suggest and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures.
  • Advise project team and operations on cost-effective and value-added works.
  • Monitor procurement and sourcing processes including tendering, recommendation, and contract award.
  • Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with vendors, manage vendor selection and evaluation, and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Network with target suppliers and industry practitioners.
  • Collaborate with clients, project management teams, and operations to translate business requirements into time-bound actions.
  • Recommend sourcing strategies and e-bidding strategies in the operating expense and capital projects space.
  • Manage complex analyses and share actionable insights.
  • Engage independently with suppliers.
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as directed by management.

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a related Cost, Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management role
  • Experience in a related Cost, Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management role within the Facilities Management and/or Capital project/construction management industry is favorable.
  • Strong technical sourcing & procurement experience, including RFP management, contract management, negotiation, supplier relationship management, evaluation and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and part of a wider team, managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Spoken English proficiency
