Job Responsibilties:

  • Define project scope for Life & Health Sciences and Medical Standards (IEC 60601 & IEC 61010), developing investigation plans and determining cost, time, and sample requirements.
  • Conduct tests based on standards and client requests, including frequent travel to witness tests at client sites.
  • Communicate with clients to explain services, discuss technical issues, and negotiate project costs and timelines
  • Address and resolve client concerns, providing technical assistance on product inspections and compliance.
  • Establish and oversee test programs by reviewing documentation, examining samples, and ensuring UL compliance.
  • Notify clients of compliance issues and project scope changes, coordinating lab activities and technician workflows.
  • Manage project administration, serve as Project Handler or Reviewer, and report project status to clients.
  • Develop follow-up services procedures, integrate continuous improvement, and resolve engineering issues related to Variation Notices.
  • propose new or revised UL requirements and develop specialized test methods and equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with at least two years of relevant work experience.
  • Preferably experienced with Life & Health Science and Medical Standards (IEC 60601 & IEC 61010).
  • Proficient in interpreting schematics, insulation diagrams, and component datasheets.
  • Familiar with industry conformity standards.
  • Strong ability to apply project management concepts within the field.
