Key Responsibilities:
- The research fellow will be leading the preparation and planning of all flight testing. Must diligently ensure the test can be conducted safely and produce fail tree analysis and help team members conduct components and system tests to ensure the aircraft is safe to fly.
- Ensure the test program is on schedule.
- Prepare test instrumentation, system integration of entire aircraft, and help do hands on assembly and technical work on aircraft.
- The work will involve interfacing with many government agencies and private companies to ensure all necessary documentation and permits are prepared properly for flight testing and flight test will go smoothly.
- Will develop flight test procedure, protocols.
- Taking and maintaining meeting records and minutes.
- Help collect test data, participate in theoretically analysis and validation of data, help designing the next gen eVTOL aircraft.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must at least have a Ph.D. Degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering.
- Must have theoretical training and 4+ years of experience specifically in eVTOL aircraft design principle and be extremely familiar with the eVTOL market and technical and non-technical attributes of other eVTOL aircrafts in the world.
- Have written papers on eVTOL aircraft research and has experience running multi-discipline software to analyze performance and flight dynamics of eVTOL aircraft.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to work independently but also facilitate projects with team members with minimal supervision.
- Has done hands on research, including planning, building, programming, repairing, flight testing, piloting of unmanned aircraft.
- Prefer Singapore citizen as this role requires to work with Singapore government agencies and travel internationally to flight test centers that have nationality restrictions.
