Job Description
Reporting to the Assistant Director (SCE), the Senior Assistant Manager (SCE) will play a key role in developing NTU students to become more socially aware and responsible.
Primary responsibilities contributing to student development include:
- The review, evaluation, supervision and management of:
- Students' planning and participation in overseas and local social community projects; and
- Student club elections, annual workplan and budgeting, project/programme proposals. - Identification of student development capability gaps, recommending and supporting the implementation of equipping programmes to address these gaps;
- Administration of project grants including disbursements, monitoring compliance with grant terms and conditions, and the preparation of grant statement of accounts and reports to NTU senior management and programme funders.
Specific Qualifications/Requirements
- A good degree from a recognised university with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong intrinsic motivation to facilitate growth and development.
- Knowledge in how service-learning activities are designed, organised, and implemented.
- Experience supervising and mentoring the planning and implementation of overseas and local community service projects.
- Grant administration and management experience.
- Comfortable managing multiple dynamic projects concurrently.
- Meticulous and able to manage large datasets in a coherent well-organised manner.
- Strong people engagement and management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset.
