All three businesses now make up the second-largest organization within the Delivery Hero Group, and leading food and QCommerce delivery in 18 markets in both regions.Job DescriptionThe Operations Analytics Director will oversee a large team of analytics professionals dedicated to driving efficiency, performance and growth across Logistics, Service Operations, Quick Commerce, and Fraud & Automation. Reporting directly to Analytics Leadership and working closely with the Pandora COO, this role will lead from the front in the data-informed streamlining of our operations and the building of automations/forecasts/data-products to maximize efficiency. In addition, this role will play an important role in the Data & Analytics organization, elevating our people, process and technology.The role will involve close collaboration with key stakeholders, including leadership in QC Commercial, Operations, Retail Media, and BizOps & Strategy, as well as DH Global Quick Commerce Product & Analytics teams. Additionally, the role requires engagement with product and technology teams across foodpanda, foodora, and Yemeksepeti, along with local operations and logistics teams to drive alignment and operational excellence.Main responsibilities:Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of data analysts and analytics managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, effective communication, and high-quality output delivery.Business Acumen & Data Strategy: Partner with the COO and leadership team to define key performance metrics for operational sub-functions. Develop and implement robust self-service analytics solutions to empower data-driven decisions.Operational Optimization: Design and execute technical initiatives such as modeling, forecasting, and automation to enhance operational efficiency and solve complex business challenges.Prioritization: Define and implement prioritization frameworks to ensure the team focuses on initiatives with the highest potential business impact.Stakeholder Collaboration & Data Advocacy: Collaborate with senior leaders to understand strategic priorities and deliver tailored analytics solutions. Effectively communicate complex insights to drive organization-wide data literacy and action.Rigor: Review and enhance the team's outputs, including advanced data models, dashboards, and data-driven presentations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.QualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience in tech, consulting, retail or similar industry, with at least 5+ years leading analytics teams. Experience in Operations, Logistics, or CPG is a plus.Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science).Excelled influencing skills, with experience presenting storyboarded insights and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and executives.Experience with machine learning, forecasting, and optimization models is a strong plus.Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment.
