The Fitness Centre Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and staff. - Marketing & Promotions: Lead marketing initiatives to attract new members, including organizing events, workshops, and promotional activities to drive membership growth.
- Financial Management: Manage the budget, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to improve profitability while maintaining high service levels.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
- Community Relations: Foster relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to promote the fitness centre and engage in partnerships.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in fitness or sports management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in martial arts instruction is highly desirable.
- Certification: Current CPR/AED and first aid certification; additional fitness or martial arts certifications (e.g., Black Belt, coaching certifications) are a plus.
- Skills:Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in fitness management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms.
