Job Description
The lab of RNA in Disease and Translational Technologies at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR, Singapore is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Research Officer to help develop in vitro and in vivo systems for high-throughput screening of delivery systems, and cell-targeted delivery for RNA therapeutics, with applications in cancer and genetic diseases. Both fresh graduates and senior technicians are invited to apply.
Job Requirements
Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience or a related discipline. The successful candidate will have expertise in both molecular biology techniques (RT-qPCR, molecular cloning, RNA handling) and cell biology methods (cell culture, transfection, electroporation, flow cytometry). The successful candidate will be conscientious and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills. They should demonstrate the ability to work independently while also possessing excellent organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills, enabling them to collaborate effectively within a team. Experience with CRISPR and DNA sequencing technologies would be an added advantage.
