- Perform operational reconciliation and accounting functions (Cash Accounting) for tax revenue accounts/deposit accounts in NFS@Gov system
- Prepare the Statement of Moneys Collected on behalf of Government and supporting schedules after the closure of accounts for the financial year.
- Prepare the submission of returns to MOF according to AGD's circulars.
- Prepare reports required for year-end closing of accounts in accordance to AGD's Circular for FY closing arrangements.
- Perform reconciliation activities and monitoring of investment of trust funds.
- Preparing annual financial statements for Trust Funds in compliance with relevant Trust Deeds.
- Monthly Power BI dashboard reporting on revenue collections and grant disbursements.
- Develop Macro/RPA scripts to automate operational processes within the team to improve work productivity.
- Project involvement to review system requirements and perform user acceptance testing.
- Preferably a background in Accounting
- Preferably with experienced in financial reporting and preparation of financial statements
- Good stakeholder management, networking, writing, and communication skills
- Meticulous and an aptitude for figures
- Strong analytical thinking skills and business acumen
- Resourceful and able to work independently
- Able to deploy new technology, analytics tools and dashboard to support key job functions
