Job Responsibilities:

Marketing Campaigns
  • Execute and manage marketing campaigns and activities of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (both digital and traditional marketing)
  • Build strong brand identity and image through communications about college's research achievements, awards, student & alumni features etc.
  • Production of collaterals, online content, videos and other publicity materials
  • Analyse current marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement


Content Generation & Management
  • Generate and manage content ideas (including but not limited to copy, visuals, infographics, etc.) for EDMs, social media, student blogs
  • Work closely with our undergraduate and postgraduate Academic Programmes Office team and other stakeholders to act as a brand guardian in terms of look and feel of online communications as well as tone of voice of copy
  • Produce high quality content across various channels, including social media and press releases.


Outreach & Promotion
  • Increase engagement with students and alumni through events and initiatives
  • Communication outreach to Alumni and support for alumni activities
  • Communication support for Outreach and Open House activities
  • Plan and organize the logistics of physical and online outreach events to promote undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
  • Design publicity materials and campaigns to promote outreach events, and post-event engagements
  • Support official events, conferences, seminars, MOU signing, visitors etc.


Brand and Digital Communications
  • Support the strategy and initiatives to enhance CCDS's communications and visibility, critical to help college attain its global rankings, as well as attract top students, faculty, and corporate partners/ potential donors.
  • Drive an integrated communications strategy that supports the promotion of CCDS programmes, including research, strategy development, and executional plan
  • Assist in the design conceptualisation, development, implementation and production of programme collateral and other activations (together with in-house designer and/or external design agency)
  • Engage stakeholders (faculty, students, alumni, etc.) to plan a pipeline of engaging content for social media
  • Act as the brand guardian of the CCDS website, ensuring accurate and up-to-date content


Website Management

  • Manage the website to always align with CCDS's branding needs, enhancing user experience. Ensure that the website effectively communicates the College's strengths in academic research areas
  • Create and conceptualize branding strategy for digitial and traditional media.


Other responsibilities:
  • To manage and supervise a team to run the daily operations of the Engagement & Outreach's Office.
  • To provide coaching and training to the team members.
  • To motivate and resolve issues within the office (where applicable).
  • Work closely with all departments of the College to gather information required for all publicity matters.
  • Work closely with School Finance Business Partners on budgetting for publicity events.
  • Oversee requests for materials / collaterals
  • Oversee requests for event bookings
  • Oversees the budget for Engagement & Outreach team
  • Update and maintain database of websites
  • Be able to generate reports for budget review and presentation slides on all outreach and engagement event.s
  • Support Associate Dean (Undergraduate Education) and Academic Lead in the in all events.
  • Advise Associate Dean (Undergraduate Education) and Acad Lead on the compliance of processes in accordance with the University's guidelines and oversee the timely and effective communication of important policies and processes that is of relevance to the College.
  • Provide support to your team members as and when needed.


Job Requirements:
  • Recognized university degree or it's equivalent (in media-related field or marketing preferred), with at least 5 years' experience in engagement and outreach in a tertiary education institution.
  • At least 4 years of supervisory experience leading a dynamic administrative team.
  • Equipped with strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex issues and handle stress.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess proficient knowledge in publicity tools.
  • High level of commitment and initiative.
  • Equipped with high level of coordination and time planning.
