What the role is:The Senior Manager / Manager (Corporate Finance) provides support for the financial matters of the organisation, including payroll, claims, budgeting and financial reporting to enable the organisation to achieve financial sustainability through efficient use of resources.What you will be working on:1. Oversee all payroll matters for VITAL staff, including new hires, exiting staff and processing bonus payments to eligible staff. 2. Review alerts and exceptions flagged out by the payroll system. 3. Oversee staff arrears, including the monitoring of recoveries and providing regular reports on aging analysis. 4. Analyse and report the financial performance of VITAL, including the analysis of revenue and expenses, budget utilisation, financial performance of various Functions, staff claims, etc. 5. Manage the budget planning process, including consolidating, reviewing and optimising budget allocation. 6. Oversee the review of monthly reports on Suspense and Clearing Accounts and ensure that follow-up actions are taken to clear the entries. 7. Assist in submitting year-end returns, year-end financial closing, process/system reviews and other adhoc tasks.What we are looking for:1. Tertiary education in Accountancy, Finance or Business. 2. Understanding of Finance and Payroll processes and experience with related systems. 3. Preferably familiar with Government rules and regulations. 4. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably with some supervisory experience. 5. Good communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Able to work independently. 7.
