The Quality Audit & Management (QAM) team drives excellence in Quality Management System and Internal Quality Audits. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across DSTA and stakeholders to ensure compliance, streamline processes, and implement digital transformation initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in upholding operational excellence, maintaining high-quality standards, and strengthening governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management System (QMS) Governance

  • Collaborate with Process Owners and Document Custodians to conduct regular QMS reviews, ensuring alignment with external directives, governance policies, and industry best practices
  • Manage QMS updates and communications, ensuring seamless adoption of changes across the organisation
  • Provide guidance on document control, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements

Internal Quality Audit (IQA) and ISO9001 Certification

  • Plan, execute and oversee internal quality audits, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and processes
  • Lead and mentor a team of auditors, providing training, guidance, and performance oversight to ensure effective audit execution
  • Monitor audit schedules and progress, track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and present audit findings and risk assessments to senior management
  • Maintain ISO9001 certification by driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with quality standards

Process Optimisation and Digitalisation

  • Drive process improvement initiatives, leveraging automation and digital tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of QMS and IQA processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovative and operational excellence
  • A degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field with strong passion for quality assurance, audits, compliance, and process improvement
  • Hands-on experience in QMS administration, internal audits and CAPA implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills streamline quality management processes
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 standards, audit methodologies, and governance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate across different teams
  • Ability to lead and guide teams in process improvement and quality initiatives
  • A proactive mindset with a continuous learning approach to adapt to evolving quality standards and digital transformation trends

Candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for the Manager role.
