What you will be working on:Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions. • Process invoices, payments, and track expenses. • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested. • Work closely with other divisions on finance matters. • Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor.What we are looking for:Requirements: *Key Competencies* • [Financial Analysis] The ability to apply analysis tools and techniques such as data analytics on financial information to assess financial implications and financial viability. This provides value-added financial insights and points of view to support the organisation's plans. • [Financial Operations & Controls] The knowledge of and ability to apply prevailing principles, policies, laws and regulations (such as Finance Procedures Act, Revenue Recognition Framework, relevant Instructional Manuals, Financial Circulars, Finance Circular Minutes and other applicable laws, regulations and internal and finance guidelines) in the execution of financial operations and management. • [Financial Reporting] The ability to prepare reconciliation statements by applying the right principles, standards and appropriate accounting treatments for accounts reconciliation. • [Systems and Data Management] The ability to administer financial operations by using relevant knowledge and applying financial accounting systems, management reporting systems, e-transaction portals and other IT systems and software. Knowledge on Robotic Process Automation would be an added advantage. Qualifications: • Applicants with no experience may apply. • Prior experience and knowledge in Finance, Accounting, or related field is advantageous. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product. • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.About Ministry of Law:In Singapore, having the rule of law and advancing people's access to justice are not just lofty ideals but the backbone of a functioning and a progressive society.
