We are pleased to be engaged exclusively on a Head of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) search (circa. $220k annual base excluding bonuses) with a Manufacturing giant. Reporting to the Chief People Officer directly, the incoming will be responsible for designing performance management strategy and total rewards philosophy to attract and retain talent. This is a newly-created role which provides the canvas for driving change and transformations.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and talent management goals
  • Engage and front the Remuneration Committee on all related matters (e.g. setting executive packages, developing policies, ensuring compliance)
  • Uplift the overall C&B capability of the organisation and enhance extent frameworks/processes, including subsidiaries, joint ventures etc.
  • Design and implement salary structures, bonus schemes, and other compensation programs to drive performance and retention
  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure our compensation and benefits packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards
  • Develop and manage benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits
  • Advise business leads and collaborate with HR teams to ensure seamless integration of compensation and benefits programs with other HR initiatives
  • Analyze and report on compensation and benefits metrics to inform business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits in Singapore
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with previous consulting background
  • Prior experience partnering blue-collar and similar/relevant technician demographic groups will be beneficial
  • Appetite and ability to drive C&B projects relating to merger, acquisitions, joint ventures and other forms of change activities
  • Strong eye for connecting C&B/HR strategies with broader organisational/business requirements
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s and international labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
