Role Description
- As the Commercial Products Director APAC, you will lead the design and delivery of dentsu's proprietary media solutions & commercial products framework, translating an in-depth understanding of agency product solutioning into successful in-market delivery programmes that have a material and direct impact on agency commercial outcomes.
- You will have a deep knowledge of the emerging media ecosystem, particularly digital, data and technology platforms & partners, with the capability to co-build innovative media solutions that solve client challenges while presenting commercial growth opportunities via a "value-for-all" approach.
- You will also have experience in & understand the machinations of a highly diverse, matrixed agency organisation; with the ability to work collaboratively with various agency teams & functions across multiple markets to deliver commercial product growth.
- You will also possess a strong commercial acumen and internal sales mindset, being able to pipeline, manage opportunities and overcome blockages through stakeholder engagement & multi-market influence.
- As the key APAC commercial product leader, you will drive the success of dentsu's proprietary product programme, exhibit strong financial acumen & be the regional thought leader for the success & expansion of dentsu's solutions suite across all markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative proprietary dentsu-owned commercial product solutions spanning traditional media, display & video, CTV/OTV, social, creator and retail/commerce channels.
- Be the focal point to the supply side for dentsu's commercial product discipline, manage key strategic supply partners and represent dentsu at all senior levels in the market. Critically, this requires strong relationships with DSP & SSP partners, data vendors & technology providers.
- Oversee dentsu's principle media programme – Agyle – working hand in hand with markets to grow demand and supply opportunities.
- Oversee the go-to market approach for commercial products across all APAC markets, and work collaboratively with all Amplifi teams to craft market-level solutions programmes that deliver revenue upside.
- Manage the pipeline of media solutions revenue and ensure all opportunities are leveraged and blockages removed in order maximise commercial outcomes.
- Educate & train all markets on client engagement, help to build commercial use cases. In line with this take a highly hands-on and leadership approach with Integrated Client Leadership community, and drive a commercial mindset amongst all client teams.
- Work directing with the President, Trading & Investment, the APAC Group Trading Director and the APAC Head of Investment to develop holistic commercial models for both organic client growth and new business opportunities.
- Supports the strategic and commercial direction of the business by helping to define where our next supply-side focus areas should be, explore what risks are on the horizon and define approaches to overcome them
- Work collaboratively with global Amplifi commercial product & strategy teams to ensure APAC is represented in all global forums and opportunities,
- Work collaboratively with Global, APAC and local legal, commercial finance and compliance teams to ensure dentsu's commercial product strategy is profitable and sustainable.
