The responsibility of the role of a Trade Marketing Executive includes, but is not limited to managing promoter activities and training, liaising on POSMs (Point of Sale Materials), overseeing trade displays, and conducting market pricing research. Job Description
- Plan and coordinate the execution of trade promotions/ activities, including in-store displays, point-of-sale (POSM) materials and retail events. Ensure the timely deployment of marketing materials to stores, working closely with internal/external stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Ensure that products are displayed prominently in retail stores to enhance brand visibility and attract customers, while implementing strategies to optimize product placement and visibility through shelf positioning and signage.
- Track expenditures and ROI on marketing initiatives, employing data-driven insights to make timely adjustments and enhance overall performance
- Conduct regular field visits to assess brand visibility, verify compliance with merchandising standards, and uncover areas for improvement.
- Deliver actionable insights and feedback based on field observations, enabling the refinement of strategies and enhancement of overall marketing effectiveness.
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and consumer insights to refine marketing initiatives, ensuring maximum effectiveness on fields.
- Boost sales and brand recognition - create and execute trade promotions alongside distributors and retailers, ensuring all efforts align with the bigger marketing plan.
- Building a team of in-house promoters by providing product training and selling techniques. Coordinating on their work schedule with the operation team.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in marketing, business administration, commerce, or any related field.
- Fresh graduates with a positive can do mindset and are willing to learn are welcome to apply too.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in trade activation within the consumer products industry is required, with prior experience in a trade marketing role often preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, sales data, and consumer behaviour are crucial.
- Pleasant personality, creative, team player and proven success working independently.
- Knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices.
- Possess good stress management skill and able to meet tight deadlines.
