  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Young NTUC is the youth wing of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Since our founding in April of 2005, Young NTUC has grown to over 150,000 members aged 35 years and below. Young NTUC supports youth throughout their professional and personal journey to achieve their aspirations through a multitude of purposeful activities and opportunities. In collaboration with a vast number of partners ranging from unions to companies to government agencies, we can provide career discovery and navigation, workplace protection and support, leadership development, mental well-being resources, holistic personal development and many more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Conceptualise and drive different mentorship programmes and initiatives aimed at elevating mindshare and increasing Young NTUC membership among youths. This involves working closely with internal stakeholders such as Unions, UPME, UFSE and USME and external partners such as Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and other Government-related organizations.
  2. Support the outreach and engagements team who would implement the programmes, initiatives with partners.
  3. Manage day-to-day activities associated with Young NTUC initiatives, including engagement and relationship building, programmes management, budgeting and outcomes tracking and measurement.
  4. Manage any other duties as assigned in relation to programmes and partnerships, including internal partnerships within the NTUC ecosystem and external partnerships with Government-related organizations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree holder in any discipline.
  • Entry Level applicants are welcome to apply.
  • Possess project and resource management skills to handle concurrent work assignments and deliver high quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Have excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills
  • Able to work on some weekday evenings and Saturdays.
  • Good understanding of the dynamics and challenges of youth (IHL youths and first jobbers specifically) sector.
