  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

HR Business Partner – Banking / Financial Services $200k-$220k

Charterhouse are supporting a global banking organization in their search for their new HR Director / Business Partner reporting directly to the Head of HR.

This role will be the “right hand person” to the Head of HR and will be in a highly visible and influential position and will need someone who ideally comes from the Banking / Financial Services industries.

Responsibilities

  • Alongside the Head of HR, lead the Singapore business to deliver the highest quality HR service, working closely with key stakeholders and making improvements and managing change where needed,
  • Overseeing operational HR including updating and ensuring that all policies and procedures are aligned with local labour laws and legislations and overseeing day to day HR operations.
  • Leading Talent Management and Development. Creating a robust and effective succession plan, including the High Potential program and coaching and mentoring leaders in performance management.
  • Represent HR in wider business planning and advice on organizational capability and consider the HR implications in alignment with business goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle including on and off boarding, revising compensation & benefits, talent management, HR operations, Employee relations etc.
  • Lead employee relations and managing grievances through to resolution in alignment with company guidelines with a view to improving engagement and retention.
  • Ensure that the HR function is compliant with all policies and procedures as per Financial Security requirements, the prevention of Financial Crime, Fraud and Money Laundering.

Attributes

  • Relevant HR or Business Degree and at least 10 years of HR experience in a relevant industry.
  • Strong business acumen and business partnering exposure with excellent teamwork and ability to build strong internal relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
