What the role is:As an Assistant Executive/Senior Assistant Executive (Armoury & Case Exhibit), you will support the operational needs of the CPIB in maintaining the integrity and security of controlled equipment and case-related exhibits and ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.What you will be working on:Your job scope includes, but not limited to, the following: • Ensure the armoury and case exhibit store is securely managed and organized to facilitate smooth handling of all controlled equipment and case exhibits. • Responsible for the receipt/withdrawal of controlled equipment and case exhibits in a timely manner and in accordance with requirements. • Maintain accurate movement and location records of controlled equipment and case exhibits. • Ensure controlled equipment and case exhibits are securely stored and properly accounted for. • Ensure that risk management protocols related to controlled equipment and case exhibits are adhered to. • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure the integrity of controlled equipment and case exhibits. • Ensure that controlled equipment and case exhibits are issued to authorised and relevant officers only. • Maintain case exhibit statistics. • Assist in the replenishment of Armoury inventory and procurement matters. • Conduct the Annual Classification Shoot and maintain/update the results and exemption status in the Armoury database. • Proficient with the Normal Safety Precaution (NSP) and provide clear instructions to officers on the safe usage and storage of controlled equipment. • Detect potential equipment defects/failure and carry out basic maintenance and troubleshoot equipment with identified faults. Provide direction on the maintenance or repair of equipment when basic maintenance and troubleshooting is insufficient to rectify faults • Any ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.What we are looking for:If you meet the following pre-requisites and can identify with the Bureau's mission, join us now! • Minimum Diploma / A Levels; • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience will be an asset; • Strong security acumen and risk awareness; • Good written and verbal communication skills; • Good interpersonal skills to interact and work with people at all levels and in a team; • Organised, meticulous and strong ability to multi-task; • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint; and • Applicant must be a Singapore Citizen.About Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau:Reporting to the Prime Minister's Office directly, CPIB is the government department responsible for the investigation and prevention of corrupt offences in Singapore, thus ensuring that Singapore remains corrupt-free, contributing to good governance.
