What the role is:Estate Executive (Upgrading)What you will be working on:As an HDB Estate Executive assisting with upgrading polling activities, your role would include • Render administrative and analytical support to the Upgrading Polling Team. • Prepare polling equipment for every upgrading polling precinct. • Conduct essential tests on datasets before every upgrading polling precinct. • Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of the upgrading polling exercise. • Provide essential training (IT and Operational) to the stakeholders on upgrading polling. • Conduct periodic tests on software interface and equipment to ensure that they are operational. • Liaise with various vendors to maintain the upgrading polling equipment. • Assist in the procurement of IT devices and software for polling activities. • Oversee the setup of the new equipment. • Support the section in other ad-hoc tasksWhat we are looking for:We are looking for candidates who are • Diligent and able to work in a fast-paced environment • Self-motivated and independent • Observant • Able to commit to weekend standby and activation (during upgrading polling periods and only if there are issues) • Able to work as a team • Able to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel (including macros) and Powerpoint Having background knowledge and experience in troubleshooting IT hardware and software issues would be advantageous, but not necessary. On the job training will be provided. Successful candidate will be offered a 1+1 year contract.
