- Perform maintenance inspection tasks, initiate write-ups and repairs as approved under the technical manuals.
- Responsible to provide a high level working knowledge of Regulatory AD’s, Bell ASB, TB, Service Installations, STC and third party engineering orders on Bell aircraft configurations.
- Responsible to provide planning and capacity analysis as required for the successful operation of this section.
- Responsible to carry out daily projects and complete within specified time frame.
- Must be a team player interfacing with support shop activities and quality assurance associated with maintenance initiatives supporting general inspections, repair, customization, refurbishment and completions.
- Willing to travel as required to perform remote maintenance activities.
- Current aircraft technical license (FAA Airframe & powerplant) CAAS or EASA type rating for helicopters, able to read and understand tech manuals, create work requirement write-ups.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and be computer literate.
- Willing to take on new challenges.
- Approach problems in logical and methodical manner.
- Support Rotary Wing Maintenance Manager with any appropriate assigned tasks in a safe, complete and timely manner.
- Provide clear and immediate advisory to appropriate personnel whatever any safety issues are observed or experienced.
- Assist with hanger and mobile works as needed.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to work with hand tools and precision shop equipment.
- Foster and participate in improvement of working environment.
- Two (2) Year University or aerospace trade school or military technical school.
- Must have 3-5 years of helicopter airframe and customization experience.
- Hold a CAAS, FAA or equivalent B1 License
- Have successfully attended Bell Type Training course on Bell product line
- Must be able to read, write and speak English Language
- Must be able to read and understand engineering technical data including maintenance manuals, installation instructions and aircraft drawings
- Must be able to lead and train subordinates, coordinate repairs
- Good understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)
- Competent with Microsoft Office suite
- 5+ years of performing maintenance activities on Helicopters, University or Poly Tech School in Aviation, working understanding of Ramco ERP, multiligual.
