  • Provide critical expertise and support to both JLL account leadership and clients in the understanding of the contractual requirements pertaining to their account.
  • Coordinating with the wider Commercial team, ensure a clear handover of commercial information from the pursuit phase is provided to the JLL account team and supporting mobilisation teams. I.e.: CRB, pricing assumptions, critical and key clauses (Readiness document), intent and interpretation of the contract, commercial incentives, and risks; and any other pertinent information.
  • Provide quick and effective solutions to any hurdles, using the support of the Head of Commercial Delivery & Resilience, with escalations to the Head of Commercial Operations as required.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement environment to ensure standardized processes, templates and tools remain relevant and fit for purpose both globally and regionally across the Work Dynamics portfolio.
  • Develop and provide regular feedback to the Commercial Executives and Sales teams on areas of improvement / lessons learnt to support future bids and mitigating high risk agreements.
Commercial Delivery – Contractual due diligence (Financial)
  • Manage resource capacity to ensure balance through varying volumes of work and ensure recharges to accounts are made in a timely fashion.
  • Lead and achieve successful outcomes for due diligence assignments supported regionally or globally. Success measures include:
  • Clear and concise overview of the due diligence exercise including timelines.
  • Accurate, clear, high-quality, financial assessments provided at stage-gates and at assignment conclusion.
  • Management of timelines by influencing timely submissions of data from clients, asset data from FM/Engineering and pricing information from the pursuit teams.
  • Executive reports providing detail on how the due diligence assignment was undertaken, what challenges arose, and what the outcomes were.
  • Proactive suggestions of how to implement remedial measures to address risks and issues identified by Due Diligence efforts.
  • Account teams’ acknowledgment and understanding of how to move forward with any actions / flags resulting from the due diligence assignment.
  • Work with the Head of Commercial Delivery & Resilience to continuously improve and standardize processes, templates, and tools to support consistent and accurate due diligence assignments globally for Work Dynamics.
  • Support Account Executives in the negotiation of necessary contract revisions and commercial disputes, with the support of Commercial Executives as necessary.
  • For assigned due diligence work, serve as the primary point of expertise for regional sales, account finance, and mobilisation teams on due diligence requirements and commercial outcomes.
  • Informed by Due Diligence efforts, follow up to drive the development of contract design changes and scope management to optimize revenue growth and margin delivery.
Team Management (relevant for roles managing in-region analysts)

  • Working with the Head of Commercial Delivery & Resilience, coordinate the annual objective setting and performance management reviews for team members.

  • Commercial due diligence and resilience processes are embedded and upheld across the region in a globally consistent manner.
  • Account teams are provided with a comprehensive handover pack, providing all Commercial knowledge relevant to the pursuit.
  • Effective partnering across Commercial, Accounts, Solutions Development and other functional businesses to share best practices, eliminate silos, and support the success of JLL.
  • Foster talent through clear goal setting and career paths.
  • Supported Commercial initiatives and projects are successfully completed, and outcomes are identified, tracked, and successfully delivered.

Experience
  • Successful candidates are likely to have 10+ years of relevant business experience and a track record of working successfully with multi-disciplinary teams in a matrixed business environment.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary projects with various subject matter experts is essential.
  • First-hand experience of contract management and commercial acumen essential.
  • Corporate Real estate experience required, and current knowledge of the JLL Work Dynamics business models, clients and geos will be highly valuable.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and driving programmes, and/or initiatives across multiple business channels is required.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to effectively design, gain alignment and successfully execute business change.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent evidence of skill in operations, account management, communication, training, or program management.
