About the Company
Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is recognized for its innovative solutions and operational excellence. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking a highly capable and motivated Financial Controller to support their Singapore operations.
The Role
As the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving efficiency across the business. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide strategic insights and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory frameworks, including the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
- Collaborate with the Group Financial Controller to align financial practices with overall business strategy.
- Lead financial audits and maintain strict adherence to international and local compliance standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial performance and reporting efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and financial planning.
- Prepare and present detailed financial analyses and reports to senior leadership.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in financial controlling, with a proven track record in dynamic, fast-paced firms. Ideally Inter-Dealer brokerages.
- Qualifications: Strong understanding of MAS regulations and relevant professional certifications.
- Skills: Highly autonomous and proactive, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and diverse teams.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to financial reporting and compliance requirements.
