OVERVIEW
We are looking for an enthusiastic team-player, with a can-do attitude to join our growing APAC Business Development team. The successful applicant will thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment, working in a highly collaborative team.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Leading and managing the process and wider team across regional media pitches, alongside and to support the Chief Development Officer and team.
- Project managing and supporting the APAC BD team across 2025 Roadmap Projects, including but not limited to network collaborations, events, conferences and training sessions, prospect planning and information gathering and analysis projects.
- Working within a dynamic fast-paced team, with exposure to all business areas across the agency.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Regional Business Development team and colleagues across the APAC and wider business, to define and execute annual BD team strategies, proactively identifying and delivering BD opportunities in collaboration with the team.
- Lead specific Business Development opportunities, galvanising the business to focus on and deliver against these opportunities.
- Lead and manage the delivery of RFP/RFI responses for Biz Dev opportunities.
- Provide a client perspective on developing relevant and compelling new business proposals.
- Managing a team of junior staff, and ability to manage upwards.
Examples of areas of business and workstreams below:
1) PITCHING
- Lead agency’s responses to RFIs and RFPs, managing the end-to-end process for pitches.
- Manage and support the end-to-end process for larger pitches.
- Lead and support the development of pitch presentations: helping with the pitch content, brainstorming ideas with the team and helping with the development of the pitch story by providing your POV.
- Reviewing client briefing documents and brief internal teams.
- Managing pitch material content creation, including videos, printing and design elements.
- Tracking actions of the multiple stakeholders during meetings and ensuring they are delivered.
- Support logistical aspects of transition when winning large clients.
2) PROSPECTING
- Develop and implement more thorough and sophisticated methods to identify a wide range of potential clients.
- Manage this implementation personally at a regional level and empower local markets to do similar through useful frameworks and access to data.
- Pipeline development
- Design, develop and implement scalable methods to pull identified prospects through the funnel and turn into viable live opportunities. This may involve using systems like LinkedIn Sales
- Navigator and PEGA to facilitate targeted CRM.
- Contribute, with marketing, to a healthy programme of content development and distribution.
- Cultivate relationships with agency pitch consultants, auditors, and other third-party agency assignment decision influencers.
- Creating prospecting packs and updating data to share with senior team.
3) NETWORK MANAGEMENT
- Fostering good working relationships with all APAC markets, keeping them up to date with latest information, case study material etc.
- Nurture a strong community of growth leaders across all markets in EMEA, equipping them with the tools and techniques they need to develop and convert more opportunities locally and to collectively work as a connected unit to support one another, develop new thinking together and win together.
- Keeping the network connected, by supporting cross market requests, updates of the CRM system etc.
- Organising events and training sessions for the PHD markets to ensure we are aligned and have strong relationships and ways of working.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with our agency partners biz dev teams across the Omnicom network – useful for OMC or OMG level pitches and projects.
EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years agency experience, in a client-facing role, at a digital or media agency
- You’ll have a natural comfort with attending relevant client meetings, handling meeting contact reports and facilitating quarterly business reviews
- You’ll have great communication skills and be happy engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and authority levels
- Ability to understand and interpret insights/data
- Experience of working in a team, and confident ability to liaise with senior management
- You’ll be solutions-oriented, proactive and excited to share ideas
- You’ll be looking for a role that will enable you to demonstrate all these skills, whilst still looking to learn, grow and establish yourself in a team
- You’ll enjoy a fast-paced environment and have experience juggling both client relationships and getting stuck into pitches
