Adecco is looking for an independent and competent Business Controller with analysis, business partnering and controlling background to perform this role for our huge client.The Job:
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis of profit to ensure accuracy and consistency before reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams to identify and resolve discrepancies in transaction data, ensuring seamless integration between systems (e.g., CW1).
  • Act as a trusted business partner, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive business performance.
  • Analyze deviations in profit estimates and work with operations to implement corrective actions and optimize financial outcomes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to manage and improve monthly inter-office transactions, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly reports on profit run-off and financial performance, providing actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Generate and analyze weekly reports on unbilled revenue and outstanding files, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Oversee intercompany invoicing and ensure all transactions are accurately booked and reconciled.
  • Create and present monthly financial dashboards, highlighting key performance metrics and variances.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews, providing detailed financial insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Deliver ad-hoc reports and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
The Talent:
  • Strong background in financial analysis, controlling, and business partnering, with experience in transport or logistics industries.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., CargoWise One, SAP)
  • Advanced data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
