Sales Director APAC (100%)

Requirements

Your role:

We are looking for a Sales Director to manage our team of 3 area sales managers in Asia Pacific, currently located in Japan, Korea and Australia. This role will be responsible for all sales and operations in Asia Pacific, excluding China.

What you will own:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with overall company objectives
  • Lead and manage the regional sales team, driving recruitment, training, and performance processes
  • Own regional revenue and profit targets for the Asia Pacific region, excluding China
  • Develop and manage budgets for the region, ensuring effective use of resources
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership of regional P&L and forecasts
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the region and with other departments within the organization, in particular the local marketing team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including key customers and local distributors

Your profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales
  • 2+ years of management experience of sales teams
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related field
  • Must be fluent in English. Japanese or any other language are a strong plus
  • Proven track record in achieving and surpassing individual and team revenue targets
  • Experience in the industrial inspection or surveying industry is an asset
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to work on industrial sites, which may require climbing multiple flights of stairs
  • Ability to load, unload, set up equipment weighing up to 30kg
  • Valid permit or citizenship in the country of residence
