Job Description

  • Drives lean manufacturing and VSM deployment. Upskill new digital roles to DL's transformation in manufacturing operation.

  • Sustaining production operation scheduling, capacity planning/simulation, kanban management, monthly build/ship plan for both instrument & support parts.

  • Manages end-to-end supply chain planning, including coordination of when goods should be produced and in what quantity, and managing contract manufacturer (CM) and original design manufacturer (ODM) forecasts and strategies, while optimizing the balance between customer delivery requirements and inventory levels.

  • Oversees the integration of customer demand with production capability (“demand planning”).

  • Contributes to the development of manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, product generation, and/ or order fulfillment strategies to improve customer satisfaction, market share, revenue, and/ or return on assets for the business unit/ division/ operation.

  • Manages production planning processes in support of these strategies and worldwide business requirements.

  • Oversees and facilitates coordination of new product introductions (NPI), including assuring materials, labor and test capacity are in place to meet volume production.

  • Manages supply chain programs and processes and is responsible for key metrics such as gross margin improvement, revenue goals, inventory levels, on-time delivery, etc.

  • Develops inventory processes and analytical and modeling tools to manage inventory levels against production forecasts, historical consumption rates, product mix and financial targets.

  • Drives continuous supply chain improvement strategies.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

  • At least 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing/production with supervisory role

  • Experienced in leading a team, projects and/or programs and able to work under stress

  • Organizational and leadership abilities

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
