About the role As an Intern Telecom Technician at UP Communications Pte Ltd, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for providing essential telecommunications services and infrastructure support to our clients in their Exchanges/CO/Data Centres. This full-time internship role offers valuable hands-on experience in the fast-paced telecommunications industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues experienced by clients in a timely manner

  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support

  • Participate in the testing and configuration of new telecommunications products and services

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken

  • Support the wider team in ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

What we're looking for

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant telecommunications, engineering or IT-related program

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Familiarity with telecommunications equipment and network infrastructure (desirable)
