Churn is a vibrant and exciting ice cream cafe located in Yishun. We're passionate about serving delicious, high-quality ice cream and creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for our customers. We're looking for a dynamic and experienced personnel to join our team and lead our cafe to success.

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the cafe's daily operations, as well as customer service to inventory control and financial performance. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the cafe, maintaining our high standards of quality, and creating a positive experience for both our customers and our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:

    • Oversee daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service.

    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the cafe.

    • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health codes.

  • Customer Service:

    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.

    • Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for customers.

    • Build relationships with regular customers and foster customer loyalty.

    • Handle customer feedback and implement improvements.

  • Marketing & Promotion:

    • Contribute to marketing strategies to attract customers.

    • Promote the cafe through social media, local advertising, and events (as needed).

    • Collaborate with local businesses (as needed).

  • Other Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the development of new ice cream flavors and menu items.

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings.

    • Ensure the cafe's compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant setting

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of ice cream and dessert preparation is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Food Handler's Certificate (or equivalent) is required.
