Job Title: Production Operator
Job Overview:
The Production Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring smooth workflow in the production line, and meeting daily production goals. They follow standard operating procedures, ensure the safety of themselves and others, and maintain a high standard of quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Equipment: Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet the required standards. Report any defects or quality issues to the supervisor.
Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished goods. Ensure materials are available for production as needed.
Production Monitoring: Track production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders. Adjust production processes as necessary to meet deadlines.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines, wear necessary protective equipment, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other operators, supervisors, and quality control teams to meet production goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training is a plus).
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role is preferred.
Basic understanding of machinery and production processes.
Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or issues with products.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced
