Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Technician to join our team to support our growing fleet of vending machines. This role will focus on developing communication software, handling repairs, and ensuring smooth operation for future pre-order capabilities on our system. Key Responsibilities
Software Development:
Write and maintain communication software between the vending machine’s Android system and the number keypad.
Ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
Test and debug software to optimise machine performance.
Maintenance & Repairs:
Diagnose and repair hardware issues in vending machines, including mechanical and electronic components.
Perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Document repairs and updates for future reference.
Pre-Order Management (Future):
Prepare vending machines for pre-order capabilities.
Collaborate with the team to implement software and hardware features that support pre-order functionality.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Engineering, IT, Mechatronics, or related field.
Proven experience in software development, preferably in hardware-software integration.
Knowledge of Android systems and communication protocols.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for hardware and software issues.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Familiarity with vending machines or similar automated systems is a plus.
