About the Job
The Field Service Technician is a vital member of the Technical Support Team, responding to customer requests for on-site attention, from training, installing, upgrading, and solving technical issues and ensuring a high level of merchant satisfaction.
What's in the Job
Whenever a new merchant signs up for CubePay's digital payment service(s), you are required to help the merchant get started, from training, guiding, installing, setting up, and upgrading payment terminal devices - hardware, device software, and related networks.
You will be on standby to respond to merchants requesting on-site technical support.
You will be required to make scheduled visits to merchants to troubleshoot, and solve their technical problems, as and when required.
Finally, you will be required to send your service reports so we can continue to monitor and improve the quality of our customer support.
The Candidate
You must have at least an ITE NITEC vocational qualification, its equivalent, and/or higher.
Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license or Class 2B motorcycle or both.
Possess beginner to intermediate consumer IT, hardware, software, and system networking knowledge.
Comfortable in setting up and installing consumer smart devices (such as your smartphones, home networking routers, WIFI, etc).
Able to be put on standby duty, including weekends and public holidays.
An independent problem-solver, a pleasant personality, communicates well with customers, and a team player.
