Key Responsibilities
Providing technical support: Responsible for providing technical support to employees and end-users. This may include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring systems, and resolving technical problems.
Installing and configuring hardware and software: Responsible for installing and configuring new hardware and software, such as desktops, laptops, printers, and applications.
Maintaining computer systems and networks: Responsible for maintaining and updating computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security.
Assisting with cybersecurity: Assist with ensuring that company data is secure and protected from unauthorized access, as well as implementing cybersecurity best practices.
Performing data backups: Responsible for performing regular check of data backups to protect the company's data from loss or corruption.
Providing training: Assist with providing training to employees on how to use new software or hardware systems.
Keeping up-to-date with technology: Responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in IT technology and trends, as well as continuously improving their own technical skills.
Collaborating with other departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that technology solutions align with the company's overall goals.
Documenting IT procedures: Responsible for documenting IT procedures, such as system configurations and troubleshooting guides, to ensure that they are available for future reference
IT Asset management: responsible for maintaining, tracking and monitoring IT assets, which can include hardware, software, and network equipment.
Carry out other duties assigned from time to time by the IT Operations Manager.
Assist members on IT system enquiries.
