Key Responsibilities:
Bar Operations & Beverage Innovation
Ensure the bar counter and mise en place are fully prepared before operations commence.
Develop and maintain an innovative cocktail menu and beverage program aligned with the bar's concept.
Conduct market research to enhance product offerings and implement periodic and seasonal menu updates.
Operate advanced bar equipment and ensure sustainable practices are upheld.
Collaboration, Networking & Promotion
Build and maintain relationships with top bars across Asia and globally, facilitating guest shifts and regional collaborations.
Work closely with the team to execute promotions and introduce innovative menu items.
Inventory & Quality Control
Oversee stock requisition, collection, replenishment, and disposal, conducting daily inventory checks.
Ensure all beverages meet quality standards, maintaining consistency and freshness.
Identify upselling opportunities to enhance guest experiences.
Maintain efficiency in bar counter work, pantry, and service preparations.
Leadership & Team Development
Foster a strong service and management philosophy as a guide for team members.
Continuously improve service standards and provide necessary training to team members.
Process & Standards Development
Develop and implement F&B service processes and standards to enhance guest experiences.
Regularly review service standards and collaborate with restaurant managers to optimize team productivity.
Communication & Staffing
Ensure seamless communication within the food and beverage teams.
Review staffing levels and schedules to meet operational needs effectively.
Performance & Strategy Execution
Set expectations for the F&B leadership team, provide regular feedback, and maintain an open-door policy for employee concerns.
Develop and execute an F&B operating strategy aligned with the brand’s overall business goals.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
Financial & Business Management
Analyze financial reports to assess performance against budgets and implement strategies for improvement.
Identify cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar bartending management role within a luxury hospitality environment, with a background in recognized bars.
Extensive knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
Passionate about Food & Beverage, with a strong focus on innovation and guest experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and an eye for detail.
A team-oriented leadership approach with the ability to build cross-departmental relationships.
Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Solid administrative knowledge of F&B operations, including Microsoft Office, POS systems, and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Must maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance at all times.
