The ideal candidate shall have experience in customer-facing roles with broad and deep technology knowledge of Adobe products (such as AEM and AEM Forms), Adobe technical architecture, and application design to drive application modernization and cloud deployment. Besides having technical expertise in Adobe products. The ideal candidate shall also have the ability to architect and develop Java-based solutions by mapping common customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions.

Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of AEM developers and technical experts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of AEM-based projects, from planning and design to deployment and post-launch support.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

• The Technical Lead will act as architect of digital change, helping our clients create innovative and effective solutions. • To lead, design and develop solutions for product/project on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other Adobe Products.

AEM Development and Architecture:

• Design and implement AEM solutions that support complex digital experiences across various channels.

• Customize AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations with other systems (CRM, DAM, third-party APIs).

• Lead and provide hands-on support for front-end and back-end development using AEM’s architecture, Sling, and OSGi framework.

• Maintain and optimize AEM instances, including performance tuning, deployment, and troubleshooting.

• Design workflows to support content publishing processes.

• Review existing design and implement solutions for improvement from performance and usability perspective.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance in the selection of technology, tools, and best practices for AEM projects.

• Conduct solution reviews and quality assurance to ensure adherence to best practices.

• Work closely with customers, developers, testers, System administrators and business Analysts to build AEM solutions.

Integration and Maintenance:

• Integrate AEM with other enterprise systems (e.g., e-commerce, CRM, analytics).

• Implement personalization, targeting, and content management workflows to enhance the user experience.

• Ensure the ongoing support and maintenance of AEM applications post-launch, including upgrades and bug fixes.

Best Practices and Standards:

• Enforce coding standards and best practices for AEM development and ensure team adherence.

• Keep up to date with AEM updates, new features, and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

• Document and maintain technical architecture, coding practices, and deployment processes.

Performance and Security:

• Optimize the performance of AEM sites, including caching strategies, content delivery, and server-side rendering.

• Implement security best practices for AEM applications, including access control, secure data handling, and compliance with industry standards.

• Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in AEM development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior technical role.

• Deep understanding of all AEM building blocks including templates, components, touch UI dialogs, etc and AEM development

• Good Implementation and experience Adobe Commerce (Magento)

• Good understanding of Integration with other Adobe Marketing Cloud Products like Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target etc.

• Good understanding of Latest features in AEM

• Good knowledge of Adobe upgrade and migration process

• Strong experience in modern Web/Mobile development techniques and best practices.

• Experience in Cloud hosting technology

• Strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager, including components, templates, workflows, and digital asset management (DAM).

• Hands-on experience with AEM development technologies such as Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Felix.

• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Experience with back-end technologies such as Java, Spring, and RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.

• Knowledge of cloud-based environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Adobe Cloud.

• Experience in integrating AEM with third-party applications and services.
