Who We Are Looking For & What Role You Will Play
This position’s primary responsibility is to be in charge of operating and non-operating expenses, manpower and related costs as well as ensuring ledgers for all entities are maintained timely and accurately.
This position’s primary responsibilities include:
Real time reporting of latest expense figures. This includes:
Timely recording and tracking of latest operating and non-operating expenses to ensure accuracy and completeness
Breakdown of OPEX and manpower cost figures by ad hoc and contractual, by project codes and by business segments.
Analysis of actual spending on a month to month basis
Commentary to explain the flux and variances
To compute monthly and annual PLRD fees submission
To perform monthly payroll reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of manpower cost posting
To prepare quarterly GST filing and tax matters
To liaise with other departments on fixed asset related matters, including dissemination of monthly fixed asset listings and documentation records in line with company policy
To embark on work improvement initiatives continuously
To assist with audit queries and matters where applicable
Any other tasks assigned by management
What Knowledge & Experience We Require From You
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification
At least 1 -2 years of relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position
Familiar with SFRS
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel
Familiar with ACCPAC and SAP would be an advantage
Strong work ethics including attention to detail, analytical skill, meticulous and resourceful with positive work attitude
Effective team player and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
A proactive person with the ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines
