• Follow the checklist to inspect goods for damages or discrepancies.
• Sign for inbound shipments and verify that the correct goods have been received.
• Maintain an accurate record of all goods received and distributed; perform regular stock counts.
• Perform housekeeping to ensure warehouse tidiness.
• Use forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange goods.
• Unpack goods from shipping boxes (e.g., cardboard, cold chain boxes, etc.).
• Weigh goods and select appropriate packaging (e.g., cardboard, cold chain boxes, etc.).
• Pack, seal, and label goods for distribution.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety practices.
Requirements:
• Valid forklift license.
• Proven experience in working in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management software.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
Working Environment:
The warehouse operates in various temperature ranges (e.g., Ambient 15 to 25C, Cold 2 to 8C, Freezer -15 to -25C). Personal protective equipment (e.g., thermal jackets, gloves, etc.) is provided.
