The position of operations supervisor to help us implement the right processes and workflow across the company to ensure smooth operational activities. You’ll help assess the department’s operational methods and propose ways to improve them. Project management and effective communication are important operation supervisor skills.
Responsibilities
Lead and guide Team Leads (TL) and Warehouse Assistants (WA)
Conduct Safety Briefing for all workers (both in-house staff & part-timers) before start-of-shift
Assign TLs and WAs at various stations
Ensure timely inbound/outbound and scan accuracy
Take prompt action to reduce parcels returned in the Hub
Report and update inbound/outbound scan status
Analyze report status, carry out accountability check, access any parcel inaccuracy
Manage and provide fast response to assigned Key Account Customers for any queries or issues
Work with Sales, Customer Service (CS), Fleet and Fulfillment (FF) teams to ensure smooth/efficient warehouse operations
Liaise with a pool of Contractor Drivers for parcel-outbound accuracy and accountability
Manpower planning for all days
Ensure serviceability of warehouse equipment and smooth workflow to improve Hub operations efficiency
Maintain proper housekeeping standards
Adhere to the company’s Workplace Safety, Health & Security (WSHS) Policy and implement the associated bizSAFE protocols
Requirements
At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
Minimum Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields
Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
Quantitative ability
Proficient in Microsoft Office is advantageous
