Lead Human Resources Business Partner
Description
The Lead HR Business Partner (HRBP) will lead a team of HR Business Partners and play a crucial role in ensuring the consistency of HR policies, processes, and standardisation across business units and country HR operations. This individual will work closely with senior leadership, HR Shared Service teams, and key stakeholders to drive workforce capability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.
The primary geographical remit is Southeast Asia but with regular interaction with our In-Country HR teams across the wider global business.
This is a player coach role, taking ownership of HQ Corporate functions as HR business partner to C-Suite and supporting your team in the partnering of their assigned communities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead a team of HR Business Partners optimizing efficiency and collaboration ensuring a fair and even distribution of workload, goals are set and attained as well as individual development plans are in place with a growth mindset culture
- Take ownership of business partnering activities for C Suite leaders, supporting them in the management of their direct teams
- Oversee and guide change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and alignment with strategic goals.
- Ensure the uniform application of HR policies and processes across business units and HR teams while also ensuring localisation where required.
- Provide progressive, people-centric HR solutions that deliver measurable results for the organisation.
- Recognises the significant critical issues currently facing and anticipated for the business. Partners with business leadership to align HR priorities with strategic business needs.
- Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends in the Operations talent landscape to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Drive employee engagement activities across assigned business units
Requirements
- Experience in HR Business partnering and stakeholder management within both a white collar and unionized organization
- Extensive experience of business partnering including but not limited to supporting assigned leaders in talent management, talent acquisition, conflict management and business as usual HR activities such as salary reviews, bonus cycles and employee engagement action planning.
- Thorough knowledge of HR policies, processes, and best practices across Singapore and SEA.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective in a global, multicultural environment.
- Skilled in managing organisational change initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Capable of influencing and building relationships at all organisational levels.
- This role will be office based in Singapore Suntec working within a 100% on site setting
