Job Description
We are looking for a Workday Specialist with a strong background in Workday and technical expertise in Workday integrations to join our team. In this role, you will focus on optimizing our existing Workday modules, enhancing user experiences, and supporting integration projects that drive efficiency across various HR functions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday, including configuring business processes, improving reporting, and troubleshooting issues. Additionally, they will bring technical skills to support integrations and data processes within the Workday ecosystem.
As part of the HR Technology team, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions and ensure our Workday workflows are operating at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Optimization
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes across multiple modules, including HCM, Time Tracking, Payroll, and Absence Management.
- Partner with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements to enhance user experiences across Workday.
- Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards for HR metrics to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Support and troubleshoot Workday issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
Workday Integration Support
- Develop and maintain Workday integrations using tools like EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio to support various HR processes.
- Enhance and manage existing integrations with external tools and systems such as payroll providers, background check services, and third-party applications.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support data migrations, business process automation, and system enhancements within Workday.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across integrations and downstream systems.
HR Process Optimization
- Work closely with HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve and automate HR processes within Workday.
- Participate in workshops and sessions to gather requirements and design scalable solutions for HR workflows.
- Monitor and support the rollout of system enhancements, updates, and new features across Workday.
Collaboration and Training
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday, providing guidance and training to HR teams and other users.
- Support change management efforts by documenting processes, providing training, and ensuring smooth adoption of new features and workflows.
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, HR, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday, specifically in configuring and supporting various Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence).
- Familiarity with Workday integration tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio) and experience supporting or enhancing Workday integrations.
- Strong understanding of HR workflows, including HCM, Payroll, Time, Absence, and related business processes.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards in Workday to track HR metrics and analytics.
Preferred:
- Workday Pro certification in relevant Workday modules or Integrations.
- Experience with automated document generation and integrations for various HR functions (e.g., onboarding, benefits, payroll).
- Familiarity with additional Workday modules such as Learning, Talent Management, or Compensation.
- Technical skills in XML, XSLT, and Workday Report Writing.
