We are looking for a Project Officer to support the research for the project titled “Novel Manufactured Aggregates for Resilient Infrastructure”. The role will focus on carrying out research according to the proposed milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
The Project Officer will work on a project to conduct the research on development of a functional manufactured aggregates for sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Material Science or Chemistry or related field
Strong academic standing with several publications in reputable journals
Strong references from previous supervisors
Good written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX).
Competent in carbonation in self-healing in cement-based material would be preferable, but not required.
