About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technologically oriented Graduate Design Engineer to join our team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a soon to/recent graduate to kick start their career and gain experience at the forefront of Audio innovation. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation of mechanical/electrical or electro acoustic principles, a keen interest in audio performance and a strong desire to learn and contribute to real-world projects. As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, build and validate concepts to contribute to the future of Dyson’s audio product range.

About you
Currently pursuing a Batchelor’s degree in one of the following or related fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design or Acoustics.
Basic understanding of both mechanical and acoustic systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skill.
Ability to get hands on including prototype and test.
Experience with CAD software such as Siemens NX/SolidWorks or similar.
A self-starter with the ability to bring own ideas to life.
Ability to learn and work effectively in a team orientated environment.
