Our team collaborate and partner with the manufacturing sites to ensure supply plans can be successful fulfilled by monitoring capacity, key components availability and actively mitigating and resolving any product supply and/or customer service challenges. Global Supply Chain Planner manages inventory levels and the deployment of API according to customer demands and company objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring product continuity of supply for all products that fall under assigned portfolio, both for internal and external Sites.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an optimal, achievable supply plan for an API subset, aligned to a manufacturing resource, or group of resources, for the full planning horizon according to demand, production capacity and availability of materials.

  • Manage the supply of API to receiving sites within the network. Monitor system alerts for supply issues throughout the global network. Makes recommendations to provide timely resolution with minimum impact to customers.

  • To manage the pedigree complexities and incorporate the impact in Supply Review Meetings throughout the supply chain nodes such that API/Secondary network/site rough cut capacity plans and inventory plans are targeted to meet the demand/net requirements/strategic stocks for every pedigree

  • Manage the E2E primary/material inventory which include budget glidepath setting, monthly report, interacting with site SLOBs progressions, scenario planning

  • Be responsible for delivery optimization and accuracy of master data settings for planning and supply relevant to direct delivery and replenishment processes throughout global systems.

  • Perform capacity levelling within the planning horizon and leads the handover of the Supply Plan to Site production and Scheduling.

  • Support Life Cycle Management for product launches, transfers, divestments and discontinuations.

  • Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives through problem solving.

  • Provides input to Core Commercial Cycle forums.

  • Evaluate supply planning performance and trends for its SKU subset, and investigates the root cause of issues of KPIs deviations and recommends actions to prevent reoccurrence in line with Segmentation principles

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Practical experience in supply planning

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device, chemical or FMCG environment including interaction with sites, regional commercial operations

  • Ability to work independently

  • Proficiency in English

  • Ability to work with data – advanced Excel skills

  • University degree

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Knowledge of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients – nice to have

  • Experienced in the use of SAP APO or SAP ECC and analytics tools
