Working Location: Woodlands
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 530pm
Salary: Gross up to $2500 per month
Contract: 5 months
Job Scope:
Provide technical support during the preparation and delivery of classes/workshops/events in the lab and support the safe and proper use of lab assets
Provide support to academic staff members in supervision of students/participants during activities
Ensure materials and equipment are prepared and in working condition prior to the lab sessions
Assist lecturers with demonstrations of experiments and equipment and conduct trial run for practical classes when necessary
Provide assistance in admin duties, procurement of equipment and consumable for labs, receive delivery of items from vendors and assist in conducting annual stock take of assets
Perform basic troubleshooting in the event of equipment faults and follow-up with external vendor on the repairs/servicing work
Ensure adherence to QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety) procedures, including emergency plans, accident procedures, safe disposal of chemical waste, bio-hazardous materials, etc.
Job Requirements:
Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics, Engineering Design with Business or IT-related
Proficient in IT tools such as Microsoft Office
Good written and oral communication and administration skills
