SUMMARY OF ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES



Reporting directly to the Unit Operations Manager, the responsibilities and essential job functions of the Admin & Food Service Coordinator are to include but are not limited to the following:

Manage patient meal orders and special dietary requests.
Process orders accurately to meet specific patient needs.
Maintain accurate records on EMOS of meal plans, inventory, and deliveries. Ensure data is organized and accessible for auditing and planning.
Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to ensure optimal coverage: Prepare schedules that meet operational demands while considering staff availability.
Act as a liaison between hospital nursing departments and catering services: Facilitate clear communication to address any service gaps or issues.
Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely service: Track and resolve any delays in food delivery to hospital wards.

Ensure accurate and timely printing of meal order slips to support smooth food preparation and delivery process

Must have basic computer knowledge to efficiently handle software and printing tasks
