POSITION SUMMARY
Takes responsibility for the Service Excellence Assistants, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of meals and materials to hospital wards. Oversees daily operations, manages staff readiness, and ensures smooth execution of delivery schedules.
SUMMARY OF ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the Food Service Operations Executive, the responsibilities and essential job functions of the Foodservice Supervisor are to include but are not limited to the following:
Supervise the Food Service Excellence Assistants. Ensure team members are adequately prepared and equipped to carry out deliveries.
Ensure delivery materials are ready Verify that all necessary materials and equipment for deliveries are prepared and in good condition.
Manage rostering of staff. Create and maintain duty rosters to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and responsibilities.
Coordinate delivery schedules. Oversee the timely and accurate distribution of meals to hospital wards.
Conduct team training. Provide guidance and training to staff to improve service efficiency and compliance with hygiene standards.
Monitor performance and provide feedback. Regularly assess team performance and address any areas for improvement.
Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety protocols. Verify that all delivery operations comply with hospital and legal standards for cleanliness and safety.
Resolve operational challenges. Address any issues related to delays, missing materials, or delivery complaints promptly.
